OCSOA can purchase NASO Sports Insurance on your behalf and cover you for the season. OCSOA receives a group rate of $89.00 for a full year of coverage which typically is from Feb 1st of each year through the following year. This insurance purchased directly through NASO generally is over $100/yr.
If you have NASO insurance purchased through another sports group, you will not need to purchase it through OCSOA, however, if your insurance expiration date will lapse prior to the season beginning, you will need to have it current before you will be allowed to officiate games on behalf of OCSOA.
All officials will be checked to ensure they are covered with NASO before they are issued any game assignments.
