18 hours are the minimum requirements to be qualified
21 hours are the minimum requirements to be qualified for probation , 1st/2nd year members
A member will receive 3 hours credit for taking the study guide and passing the certification (80%) exam.
A member will receive 3 hours credit if they substitute an outside clinic, i.e., USA clinic. Documentation is required with a NON Orange County Meeting Verification form (form is available on Arbiter)
All members must be able to achieve the required hours as required by CIF to participate in the 2025 HS Softball season. There will be checkpoints throughout the season at which time, a certain number of hours must have been met by attending the required meetings, participating/passing the study guide/test, and maintaining good standing within OCSOA. Membership of OCSOA must attain 50% of their hours through OCSOA meetings/events.
