About Us

Since 1977, the primary purpose of the OCSOA has been to provide an educational and instructional program that will make it possible to officiate California interscholastic federation (CIF) softball games with efficiency & competency.

Join Us

There are no specific requirements for joining OCSOA other than an appreciation of the game of Softball, a desire to learn the officiating profession and an interest in learning and progressing. Prior experience as an umpire, while helpful, is not required. Want to learn more?

Our Mission

OCSOA is committed to providing 1st class officials for the CIF Southern Section High Schools softball programs. Year after year, OCSOA has proven to be one of the best HS officiating organizations in the country.
